#Jazz<\/strong> contains ten funk \/ jazz compositions. Most of them are inspired
\nby the funk and jazz traditions, and some could even be called
\npastiches.
\nIn the book you will find versions for instruments in C, Bb and Eb, and
\nfor the comping. The compositions fit well for basic education of music
\nschools and conservatories but offer challenge also for other amateur
\nmusicians of other levels. The melodies are fairly easy, but the
\n(written) solos are more challenging. Many of the compositions are based
\non the basic elements of funk, namely pentatonic scale and blues scale.<\/p>\n
